Sonars – [Bookings / Tour Logistics]
Sonars are a two-piece Electro-Psych outfit from the UK and Italy. The band consists of Brighton-born Frederick Paysden and Serena Oldratifrom Bergamo. Their live performance revolves around their loop stations which they use to recreate their songs layer by layer, drawing inspiration from Alt Rock, Psych Rock and Trip Hop.
Since their debut release in 2015 they have performed over 250 concerts throughout Europe at festivals such as Europavox (FR), Eurosonic Noorderslag (NL), Bime (ES), MIL (PT) and Maifeld Derby (DE), sharing the bill with international acts such as Slowdive, King Gizzard, Thurston Moore and Primal Scream.
In 2018 they released a new single which was played on several UK radio stations, followed by official showcases at SXSW (Austin, TX), Canadian Music Week (Toronto, ON) and an extensive UK tour. After a busy festival season, they went on to support Thirty Seconds To Mars and Mike Shinoda (Linkin Park) at the open-air Milano Rocks festival in September, performing before a crowd of thousands of people.
Lilac Melt – [Bookings]
Lilac Melt are an indie dream-pop/shoegaze band from Scotland/Greece based in Edinburgh. Formed in early 2018, they joined forces to experiment with alternative music and they quickly established a sound of expansive atmospheres and luminous melodies with a 90’s quality.
In February Katherine Aly, Dave Brown and Will Oke began working on their first EP at B&B Studios with Phil Hague writing drums and percussion for them.
In June they self-released their first single, Oxidise, along with a lyric video and got signed by the independent record label, Infinite Hive Music. Soon after that James Cougan joined the band for drums and percussion when playing live and for writing new songs for the Lilac Melt’s first full-length album.
Gathering airtime from many radio stations, including BBC Radio Scotland, the band diversified with acoustic arrangements of their songs, always maintaining their multi-layered, reverberated sound. Their self-titled, 5-track EP was officially released in November via Infinite Hive Music and has been receiving excellent reviews.
